Car insurance prices change all the time. And of course carriers have no obligation to share this information with you, especially if rates go down. The widget on the bottom left of [our homepage](http://coverhound.com) will show you -- on a state-by-state basis -- if your carrier has changed its rates since the last time you renewed your policy.
The changes it shows aren’t just in the past; the widget also displays upcoming movements if they’ve been reported -- changes from up to 6 months ago, and anything in the future. If carriers in your state are lowering their rates, it’s likely a good time to shop for a new policy.
